Moonwalk for Charity
Helen Rhodes, Management accountant at 3tc sofwate, recently completed the Moonwalk in aid of St Gemma's Hospice In Leeds.
Helen and 16 friends started the walk at midnight and finished at 3.40am.

MODAS
MODAS is a mobile data solution which empowers operational personnel to have information where they need it, and when they need it, typically in the vehicle. Crews can access up-to-date information, such as Risk Data, Hydrant Data, GIS and HAZCHEM Data using the MODAS Terminal in the vehicle. In a typical scenario, MODAS is automatically triggered upon receipt of a mobilisation message using the MODAS communications engine and a wireless bearer such as GPRS.
MODAS provides a comprehensive set of functions designed to meet the demanding requirements not only of the operational teams, but departments such as Operational Command, Information Services, and Corporate Services. The MODAS system is able to collate, generate, distribute and display the brigade’s risk and mapping data in an efficient and user-friendly way.
MODAS is offered as a modular system, enabling the brigade to install the systems in either standalone configurations or fully integrated into the Command & Control System and communications infrastructure.
